How many people fit in a 15-passenger van?
15 people including the driver. Realistically most comfortable for 12-13 adults with luggage, or all 15 with light bags.

How many seats does each van have?
Three of our four vans seat 15 including the driver. Our 2020 Transit is rated for 14-passenger capacity but is currently configured with 12 seats, giving extra room per passenger and more cargo space. Check the Fleet page for the exact seat count on each van before you book.

Is there really no mileage limit?
Correct — every Summit Van Rentals booking includes unlimited mileage. There’s no daily mile cap and no per-mile overage charge, regardless of how far you drive.

Do I need a special license to drive a 15-passenger van in Colorado?
No, we do not require a special license to operate our vehicles.

What’s included in the rental price?

No, we do require that our vans be returned to our pickup location.

How far in advance should I book, especially for ski season or wedding season?
We can book up fast! We do have multiple vans in our fleet but to ensure availability, we recommend booking 3-4 months in advance.

Where do I pick up and drop off the van?
For self pick up and drop off, we keep our vans at ParkDIA, which is a 5 minute shuttle from Denver International Airport. We also offer delivery for an additional fee.
